So, what is a screenwriter for hire service?

A screenwriter for hire service provides expert scriptwriters for cinema, TV, and other visual media. These freelance writers may compose screenplays from scratch or adapt existing material, but they can also run a business. This is a business we run.

Is this a REAL production company?

Formerly J. Marie Poetry, LLC, 3yrs + as of March 2024. New to the film production side.

What is the goal with your company?

Our ultimate goal is to provide a wide array of creative services, along with film production intially in Dallas, Texas, but to expand into other markets. Representing a wide arrange of voices and backgrounds to tell these stories.

What movies has the production company made?

Right now, none. Movies are complicated, and an art form, we respect highly. We care about everything—budget, production quality, talent, etc.

Do you charge a hourly rate or fixed rate for services?

Currently most of our services are fixed rate, there are some exceptions, such as some screenwriting services. As we add on more production specific services, that will change too.

Do you take payment arrangements?

We do so on a case by case basis, in the future there will be an option to select directly on the website.
